Ian started drumming at the age of 11 and has continued to be the noisy one ever since! Previous bands include Angel of Sin, The Usual Suspects and The Regarded. 

With a varied taste in music Ian lists his favourite artists as Rush, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Nicks. His influences are Neil Peart, John Bonham, Clem Burke and his Dad. 

At present Ian is using the following equipment:  PDP Platinum Series by DW Drums in Black Oyster Sparkle, Pearl Omar Hakim Signature Series Snare Drum, Zildjian Cymbals, DW 7000 Series Pedal, Pearl Hardware, Ahead and Vic Firth Sticks. 

Outside of music Ian’s other big passion in life is Rugby and he has played for a number of clubs over the years. Although he hung up his playing boots a number of years ago Ian is still a big follower of the game. Ian laughs when he says that he now just puts his body through the aches and pains of drumming instead of the hell of a rugby scrum as well.
